FUN IN THE SUN - 1 week in our stuido in Florida

Our next Fun in the Sun Workshop will be June 01 to June 07, 2008   Spend a Creative Week - in wonderful Cape Coral, Florida - with a nice group of  3 - 6  Glass Fusing enthusiasts Our Fun in the Sun Glass Fusing Workshops are loaded with creative ideas, plenty of information - techniques, designs and marketing, and  lots of individual attention in our state of the art glass fusing studio with lots of kilns, sandblasting and some cold working equipment. And most certainly Mold Making with Kaiser Lee Board. Workshop Schedule: Sunday: evening ... Classes start with a Dinner and a Planning Session. Monday to Friday ... 9:30 am to 3:30 pm  *All Day Workshop  (with an hour lunch break) Wednesday: the whole Afternoon is free for you to Enjoy the Area. Saturday: Departure day Workshop fee: $ 450 per week + materials Housing - Enjoy your stay in your own private Cape Coral Vacation home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, a nice living area &  swimming pool.  Each bedroom sleeps two &  will cost  $ 400/week If you are a Group of friends or family, please let us know and we will work out  a  SPECIAL SCHEDULE & DEAL for You!

Denver Colorado In the week of July 21 to July 25 we will be at D & L Stained Glass, Denver Colorado teaching a 2 day class on Introduction to Glass Fusing and a 1 day class on mold making with KLB. These classes are for D & L customers only. So now is the time to start your business account with them.

BIG ARTS ON SANIBEL FLORIDA

Beginning in October we will start again - Every Wednesday and/or every Thursday from 9:30am to 12:30pm glass fusing classes at BIG ARTS on Sanibel, FL (www.bigarts.org) You'll be amazed at the possibilities of what you can accomplish in 4 sessions of glass fusing. You will make a variety of products, such as jewelry, bowls, plates, vases and sculptures, to name a few. You will also explore the techniques of kiln firing, mold making and designing. We will even be working with the "Kaiser Glass Flow System", making stringers and casting glass. No special skills are required - just a willingness to express your creativity with a great material. The ability to paint or draw is not necessary for glass fusing. To design with colored glass and various shapes enables the artist in everybody.

Petra & Wolfgang Kaiser Kaiser Glass Design Studio Cape Coral, FL (239) 540-1137 Petra Kaiser is the author of Introduction to Glass Fusing & Fuse It - published by Wardell Publications Inc. She and her husband, Wolfgang, have specialized in glass fusing since they moved to the US from Germany over 10 years ago. Petra’s creative focus is on kiln-worked-glass and Wolfgang is an experienced entrepreneur and a ‘tool wizard’ fabricator. When they discovered this specialized fiberboard in Europe (now known as ‘Kaiser Lee Board’) they instinctively recognized the benefits and opportunity in the fused glass market. Petra & Wolfgang experiment (play, as they call it) daily with cutting edge techniques and designs in their professionally equipped Kaiser Glass Design Studio. Outside their studio, Petra and Wolfgang can be found teaching all over the US, Japan, and Mexico.
